By using Lapka, you agree to these Terms of Use. Please read them carefully.

1. About the App

Lapka is a dog walk tracking app. It lets you record routes, view statistics, manage pet profiles, and share pet ownership with other users.

2. Your Account

Registration is required to use the app.
You are responsible for the security of your account.
Each person may have only one account.
You must be at least 13 years old to use the app.

3. Acceptable Use

You may not:

Use the app for any unlawful purpose.
Upload offensive, inappropriate, or false content.
Violate the rights of other users.
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' data.
Manipulate walk data (distance, duration, route) to obtain false statistics.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of content you upload (photos, notes). By uploading content, you grant us the right to store and display it solely as part of the app's functionality, for as long as your account is active.

5. Shared Pet Ownership

The co-ownership feature allows you to add other users as co-owners of a pet via invite code. The primary owner (who created the pet profile) has elevated rights — including editing the pet profile and managing co-owners. Co-owners can record walks for the shared pet.

6. Location Access

The app requests Always Allow location access to record walk routes in the background. You may deny or revoke this permission at any time in your device settings, which will prevent route tracking.

7. Paid Features (Lapka Plus)

Some features require a Lapka Plus subscription:

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same price.
You can manage and cancel your subscription in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your device.
Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with App Store policies.
Any unused portion of a free trial period is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

8. Intellectual Property

The app, including its design, code, graphics, and content (excluding user-uploaded content), is the intellectual property of Ivan Borisov. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the app.

9. Disclaimer

The app is provided "as is". We are not liable for data loss, service interruptions, inaccurate GPS data, or any damages arising from use of the app. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time in the Privacy section of the app.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except where mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence apply.

12. Apple App Store

These Terms are between you and Ivan Borisov only, not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content. However, Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms, and upon your acceptance, Apple will have the right to enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. You will be notified of significant changes through the app. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
